Mat 5:44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you." Why I chose this verse?

I started my Serra career in the 6th grade.  My teacher was Mrs. Fiore.  She's my mom but I respected her in the classroom and always followed directions.  The people that helped me feel welcome were Hannah, Paige, and Laura.  This year I went to Science Camp and really bonded with my classmates.  I loved getting to know each and every one of them in a special way.  Everyone in my class welcomed me to Serra and I would never choose a different school because none of them are better.  During this year I ran for the Student Council. Unfortunately, I lost but I accepted the title of Member at Large. I tried out for the school play Cinderella.  It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed being around all of my friends.  The play was a great experience for me and I've tried out for everyone since. In 6th grade technology we did a Natural Wonders Project. 

My second year at Serra was in the 7th grade.  My teacher was Mrs. Matsukane.  Mrs. Matsukane was a wonderful teacher that related to me in so many ways.  She's as much of a Lord of the Rings fanatic as I am and we always talked about how good the movies and books are.  My friends during 7th grade were Laura, Paige, Andrius, John, and Stephanie.  My friends were so helpful to me this year and I would never trade them for the world.  My friends are like shooting stars, you can ask them for anything and your wish is always granted.  Also during this year we did a Hobbit Game Project.  This was one of the most fun projects during this year.  During the 7th grade we did an Animal Kingdom Project in Technology. I did mine on the giraffe.  I tried out for the play Bye Bye Birdie and got a small part but I made the best out of it.  During this year Bretton Friestedt died.  Although I didn't know him that well, I felt the heartbreak of my classmates.  I ran for the student council again this year and I won the title of Secretary.  I didn't start this role until the next year but I was looking forward to it with much excitement. 

My last year at Serra is my 8th. My teacher's are Mrs. Muzzy and Mrs. Tilton.  They are so nice and always help me out.  My friends during this year are  Andrius, John, Paige, and Laura.  My teachers made learning fun.  They always stopped if someone had a problem and always had an enthusiastic point of view. We went to Leadership Camp at Pali Mountain and it was the best experience of my life.  I conquered my fear of heights and did many fun activities.  I got very close to my classmates and I got especially closer to my main group of friends.  I learned so much about them and I'll never forget how special they are to me.  Social Studies became my new favorite subject with the help of Mrs. Muzzy. This year I am holding the office of secretary.  It is a fun experience.
