- I chose this piece of work because it is one of the best Jane

Schaffer Essays I have ever written here at Serra.  It also helped me to

learn to use the synonyms of different words instead of repeating

them constantly.

- From this assignment I learned how to improve my writing techniques

and it uses more colorful language.  I also learned that some words

have many different meanings.

- One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that we had to

learn a few new steps in the Jane Schaffer writing process.  I also got

 to work in a group to plot out the basic outline of my paragraph.

Math

Metric Conversions

- I chose this piece of work because it shows that I can graph

information on Excel.

- From this assignment I learned about how to use Mathematics

in Excel.

- One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that I learned

the Metric Conversions and I know them very well.

Science

Oil Pollution Project

- I chose this piece of work because it shows how much I have

improved in Power Point projects and it is the best example of

custom animation in the slides presentations that I have done in

the past.

- From this assignment I learned about how to download

animation from the Internet and I learned about the effects of oil

pollution.

hard time trying to get the background just the way I wanted it.

- I chose this piece of work because I think it is another good

example of how creative I can be with the Power Point program.

- From this assignment I learned about how important Sulfur is and

what it is used for daily.

- One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that I was very

nervous when i presented it in front of the class.

Social Studies

Civil War Timeline

- I chose this piece of work because we are learning about United

States History and this project shows how much I have learned about

the Civil War. 

- From this assignment I learned how to create a timeline using the

Word program.  I also learned how to plot dates on a timeline.

- One thing I want to tell you about this assignment is that I learned a lot

 about the different battles of the Civil War and that I got to find pictures

 from the Civil War online.
