Can Johnny Tremain maintain his courage during the course of the Revolutionary War? In Johnny Tremain, Johnny becomes a courageous leader when he supports his friends during the British attacks of the Revolutionary War. Throughout the story, Johnny shows a lot of courage.
As Johnny transitions into a courageous leader, he learns from many life lessons. "Look here, Mr. Lonve, the printer, he's not what you'd call a coachman, but he was reared on a farm and he's in trouble. (page 198). This shows that Johnny will do anything for anyone. This also shows that Johnny, a caring person. never thinks about himself, but cares about everyone else. Johnny always shows his ability to change his attitude.
Johnny has the benefit of good company to to help him through tough time. "After Rab asks Johnny to do two favors for him; go to Silsbee's cone and see if the women have gone back from hiding, he also wants Johnny to have his musket." This shows that Rab is kind enough to give up something of his own. This also shows that Rab trusts Johnny to fulfill his favors. Johnny uses the lessons from his peers to get rid of his arrogance.
Johnny shows his courage by fighting in the Revolutionary War. He follows orders when they are given. Dangers usually lurk but Johnny still fulfills them. Johnny is very courageous and brave. He stands up for his country and is a very generous person.
