Taylor Campbell
I started my Serra career in the 7th grade. My teacher was Mrs. Muzzy. The people that helped me feel welcome were my friends. My best friends were Kelsey, Lauren O.,Montana, Channing, Julie Hunt, Mandy, Katie, Bridget, Mallory, Megan, and Michelle. They were so sweet and I'm still great friends with all of them. Everyone was so sweet to me when I first came to this school. Some of my other teachers were Mrs. Tilton, Mrs. Matsukane, and Mrs. Budhabatti. They taught me well and helped me learn and study. One of the activities I worked on in technology was the Animal Kingdom Project. All the teachers did activities and made learning fun. They helped us if we needed it and were funny and nice. All of my friends were so nice and sweet. I really enjoyed my year in 7th grade at this school. It was so much fun.
This year I am in 8th grade. I am really looking forward to graduating at the end of this year and going off to Santa Margarita High School. High school sounds like so much fun. I am really looking forward to our graduation and doing all the fun things like going to Disneyland. I can't wait to go with all my friends. It sounds like so much fun and I can't wait to go. The high school I am planning on going to is Santa Margarita. I am going to meet a lot of new people but I also know a lot of people who are going there. High school is going to be awesome.
My teacher made learning fun. We did a lot of activities. One I remember was when we were learning about Japan, Mrs. Muzzy brought it in candy from Japan along with some rice and tea. It was so much fun. We all had a blast. We watched a movie and we were all really hyper. I'll never forget it. Mrs. Muzzy was an awesome teacher and we did so many fun things in class. I respect her a lot as a teacher.
What I remember most was all of the people and how nice they all were. The teachers were good at helping me learn and taught me everything I needed to know to succeed this year. Everyone was really cool when I came to Serra.
This year I am in the 8th grade. I don't really have a best friend but I love all my friends and there all awesome. All of my friends mean a lot to me and I love them all so much! We went to leadership camp and that was so much fun. The girls in my cabin were Kaelie, Julie, and Caroline. We had a lot of fun and stayed up late every night cracking up. We had a blast at camp and I definitely didn't want to leave. We did so many activities and we had a dance and that was pretty cool. I am looking forward to going off to high school and meeting new people and going to a different school. The high school I am going to is Santa Margarita and it sounds like a lot of fun. I can't wait.
Three things I do well are:
1. Dancing- I love to dance and have been dancing for most of my life. It takes up a lot of my time and I spend my time at practice and work hard to achieve my goal. I am planning on trying out for the Dance team at SM. It sounds like so much fun.
2. Body boarding- Because its fun to do and I have a lot of fun at the beach. I love going and its really cool just to relax and be out in the water.
3. Surfing- Because it's a lot of fun and I spend a lot of time doing it. It's one of my favorites hobbies and I love it. It's so fun to go with your friends. Me and my friends go crazy and we have so much fun. This summer I am planning to go to surf camp with my friends Channing, Ryann, Montana, Breanna, Kaleigh, and some other girls. Were going to have a lot of fun!
Three things I would like to improve about myself are:
1. Being a better student- I could be a lot better and focus on my work and the lessons. I need to improve my commitment to doing my work and getting good grades.
2. Extending my faith in God- I want to be closer to God and I need go to church every Sunday and pray.
3. Clean up after myself- I have a problem cleaning up after my self. I leave everything like clothes just laying around. I need to be more considerate and more aware of others around me.
Three things I enjoy doing are:
1. Surfing- because I've always loved it and its fun to go with your friends. I have so much fun at the beach and I love to be in the water. I have a lot of fun and it's really cool. I go surfing a lot in the summer and spend most of my time at the beach with my FRIENDS!!!
2. Going to the movies- it's fun hanging out with all my friends and just to go and see everyone. I love to be with my friends and going there. It's really fun and cool to go with all of them.
3. Getting a tan at the beach- I love to get a tan. It's really relaxing just to lay out in the sun and get a really good tan. I love it.
A goal I have for this year is: To get good grades.
I will achieve this goal by:
1. Doing my homework
2. Studying for all my Tests and Quizzes
3. Doing all of my work
Three careers that I am interested in are:
1. A Designer because I love clothes and fashion.
2. A Professional Dancer because I love to dance and it takes a big influence and part in my life. I think dancing is apart of me and I love it so much. It's my favorite thing to do.
3. Any type of Doctor- I love to help people. I think it would be a really great experience to get the chance to be a doctor and to help people and their problems as an every day job.
Three school subjects related to my career interests and why are:
1. Language Arts- because it will extend my vocabulary.
2. Spanish- so I know more then one language and communicate with people.
3. P.E- so I can stay in shape and be athletic for dance ect.
This year I have learned to be a better person and a student.
